About Us

We are a specialist plant nursery set on the Cornish banks of the beautiful Tamar Valley where we grow hardier South African plants including a large selection of Crocosmia, Eucomis, and more...

We have been growing South African plants for over 25 years and visited South Africa to see them in their native home many times. Over time, we have built a real knowledge of how to best grow them at their best.

Our displays or Crocosmias at some of the countries best flower shows have been rewarded with Gold Medals, and we have bred and release a number of varieties that mainly carry Cornish or Tamar Valley names.

More recently, we were involved in assessing Crocosmia in the 3 year 'Award of Garden Merit' trials at RHS Wisley - a rewarding and important trial for this genus.

We are a mail order nursery although pre-ordered plants can be collected if arranged in advance.
