This is a lovely form of wood anemone bearing notably large white flowers with a pale pink staining on the reverse, held on maroon stems. The leaves have three lobes and form a delicate bed for the flowers to sit upon. Like all wood anemones, grow in moist soil, under the shade of trees & shrubs, where it will slowly expand to form a carpet. Or grow in a pot (kept in the shade) so that you can bring the plant up to eye level when in flower to enjoy the blooms.
Grows around 15cm tall.
Please note that pots supplied in summer and early autumn will have loose rhizomes in compost, these will form fibrous roots as autumn progresses an can be planted out then.
